PROFESSIONAL STATMENT

To every illustration or animation job I do, I bring my fullest attention and talent, in order to provide a superior product to clients.

I was one of the first medical illustrators to use computer graphics, as a consultant for Quantel Ltd.in the UK using their Paint box system in the early 1980s and I then learned Softimage 3D computer graphics software in the early 1990s. At Baylor College of Medicine, I helped increase the medical illustration department's income by developing new illustration techniques using plastic drafting film. My superviors sponsored my membership in our professional organization, the AMI. I was educated by some of the best medical illustrators while at the University of Texas Dallas Medical School, and in my first job, I had a great mentor, Barry Baker, one of the top medical illustrators.
